A Rare Mid century Breakfront Sideboard by Herbert Gibbs for Younger Furniture
Regular price £495.00
A rare mid-century breakfront sideboard designed by Herbert Gibbs for the iconic British maker Younger, dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s. The piece features four cupboard doors with elegant caned panels, giving it a distinctive texture and warmth.
Inside, it offers generous and practical storage: a central cupboard and two side cupboards, each fitted with a removable internal shelf for flexible use. The sideboard is in good vintage condition overall, with one small area of veneer bubbling on the top surface, consistent with age and use. A striking and functional example of classic British mid-century design, combining craftsmanship, character, and everyday usability.
