Vintage 1960s Pair of Ercol 496 BATWING Carver Dining Chairs. Mid Century
Regular price £295.00
A rare pair of Ercol 496 carver chairs, part of the iconic Batwing model. Produced in the 1960s, these chairs feature elegant beech frames and beautifully grained thick elm seats, showcasing the craftsmanship and natural materials that define Ercol's mid-century designs. Made in the United Kingdom, they embody the timeless style and sculptural form that make the Batwing series so sought after.
With their distinctive winged backrests and classic carver-style arms, this pair brings an effortless touch of retro charm to any dining or living space. Ideal for collectors or anyone looking to introduce an authentic piece of furniture history into their home. Both chairs are in used condition, showing marks and areas of varnish wear consistent with age and use, as shown in the photos — up to the buyer to use as is or revarnish.
